Coureur des bois - The Conquest of Madawaska

an Extreme Triathlon

This extreme triathlon is a unique experience bringing together sport disciplines not usually found in conventional triathlons. The format allows participants of all levels to participate.

The participants enrolled in one of the three categories ; individual style Iron man, team-competition or team-participation, will conquer the Madawaska starting from the Fraser Marina in a canoe or a kayak. Subsequently, a mountain bike will race the tracks of the Madawaska Trails and the participants will finish a foot race in slopes filled with obstacles on the Mont Farlagne. The whole race is approximately 23 km in length.

This triathlon also works as a relay race where a package will be exchanged between teammates and be transported to the finish line.

First start will be at 9 am with at least 16 crafts under Bernard-Valcourt Bridge.

People of 18 years and under will have to obtain the signature of a parent or a legal guardian to participate.
