Canoe or Kayak
The race will start at the skate park located near the Bernard Valcourt bridge on the Madawaska River. The canoeists will row for a distance of 1.5 km and then return to the starting point. On arrival, one of them will give the package to the waiting cyclist of his team.

Mountain Bike
The departure for the bikers will be in the skate park near the Bernard Valcourt bridge after receiving the package from one of their canoeing team mates. The cyclists will then head to the Twin Rivers Paper mill and turn on Rice street where they will take a journey on the streets and the under-wood of the city in order to reach the slopes of the Madawaska Trails. A distance of about fifteen miles will be traveled in order to reach the Mont Farlagne where the start of the obstacle course is located. The cyclist will present the package to the runner who will be waiting in the exchange area.
Cyclists are responsible for their own bike, helmet and any troubleshooting equipment needed for a race.
Obstacle Course
The obstacle course will be located in the slopes of the Mont Farlagne Mountain. When the runner receives the package from the cyclist he'll have to run the obstacle course and reach the finish line which will be located near the Mont Farlagne Lodge. The runner will face obstacles such as rocks, trees, mud, water, wall climbing, etc. The runners are responsible for their equipment such as old shoes, shirt, long pants and gloves. The course will be between 5 to 7 km.
Package
The package will be given at registration and will have to be transported during the entire journey. The package is a small bag that will be easily attached to the waist with Velcro straps.
