Regulations
1. Departures will be done by waves. Other departures will be added after each wave. If there are more than 20 canoes/kayaks by category, the competitive categories will depart first.
2. There will be no false starts for canoes or kayaks. If the rowers are beyond the starting line before the kick-off, 30 seconds will be added to the final time of the offending team.
3. Lifejackets are mandatory in the canoe/kayak. A biking helmet is also mandatory for cyclists. If athletes refuse to wear the lifejacket or the helmet, they will be disqualified.
4. The package must be brought to the waiting cyclist by only one person from the canoe/kayak team.
5. The package will be given at registration and will be transported throughout the course and handed in at the end of the obstacle course.
6. Participants must remain in the designated trails at all times.
7. The cyclists and runners will have to identify themselves at each control point.
8. Any fraud or intentional interference with another team may lead to the disqualification of the offending team in individual categories and competitions.
9. The runner must pass all obstacles, without bypassing any of them. If the runner cannot or refuses to do the obstacles, he'll have to do 30 "Burpees". This will apply to any obstacle that is not completed.

Time and date: 1 hour before each departure, on 1 August 2015

Place: Skate Park in front of the Fraser Marina.
Departures

The first departure for the individual category (Iron Man) is planned for 9 o'clock. The first departure for the competitive category will be at 9h05. A first and last call for the canoeists will be given 15 minutes before the departure. The other waves of departures for these two categories will be done at all hours thereafter.

The competitive teams and participants for the individual category will leave first. They will be notified about their departure hours a few days after they've registered.

The participation teams will depart after the waves for the competitive categories. The hours for their departures will be announced after the 10th of July.
Waivers: ** All participants must sign a discharge of responsibilities. Those of 18 years and under must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver. **

Meeting of the team / Details of the race

30 minutes before your departure to the skate park.
Security
There will be volunteers located along the race in order to ensure the safety of all participants. An emergency medical team will be present on the scene. All participants are asked to think about their safety at all times.
Transportation and Parking
Parking for participants will be located at the rear of the funeral parlor "Brunswick Funeral Residence" near the entrance to the skate park.
The team participants will be responsible for their transportation during the whole journey. Given that the parking area is limited, it is highly recommended to car pool.
The participants for the individual category will have the opportunity to park their vehicles at the Mont Farlagne where a bus will transport them at the Skate park at 7h45 am. It is recommended to leave your bikes at the skate park before going back to the Mont Farlagne to take the bus. A supervisor will be on site to make sure nothing happens to your bikes.
Fruit and water
Water will be available at the skate park and a few places at the Mont Farlagne.
Fruits will be served for participants only, at the Mont Farlagne, in order to help them recover some of their strength after the race.
People of 18 years and under will have to obtain the signature of a parent or a legal guardian to participate.
